Privacy Policy for ShotStep

Last Updated: March 9, 2026

ShotStep ("ShotStep," "we," "our," or "us") provides the ShotStep mobile application and the informational website at shotstep.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information when you use the mobile app, our website, and related support channels (together, the "Services").

1. Scope

The ShotStep website is currently a static marketing site with links to the App Store, Google Play, this Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Service. The website does not currently offer account registration, in-browser training tools, or website checkout. 3. How We Use Information

4. Coach and Player Sharing

ShotStep is built for both players and coaches. If you choose to link with a coach or student, we disclose the information needed for that relationship to function. Depending on the feature you use, this can include display name, email address, assignments, lesson notes, practice compliance, logged practice activity, goals, and related coaching data.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Paid coach subscriptions are sold through Apple App Store and Google Play billing. We use RevenueCat to validate and sync entitlement state across the app and our backend. Apple and Google control the payment transaction itself, including your billing method, store account, and certain refund and renewal records.

6. When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Retention and Deletion

We keep account, practice, coaching, and subscription-support data for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to complete deletion requests, resolve disputes, detect fraud, enforce agreements, or meet legal obligations.

You can request deletion from inside the ShotStep mobile app using Profile > Delete Account. That flow is intended to remove your ShotStep account data and sign you out. Some records may remain in backups, processor systems, store purchase histories, or legal archives until they are overwritten or no longer required.

8. Your Choices

ShotStep does not currently provide a separate in-app privacy dashboard or a self-serve data export tool.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and protect access to your devices and accounts.

10. Children's Privacy

ShotStep is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will review the request.

11. International Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. These countries may have data-protection laws different from your home jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version becomes effective when posted on this page. If changes are material, we may also provide additional notice through the app, email, or the website.
